On This Day 28th August 2003.

Jon Lawton, guitarist with Scouse metal band Atonal, on stage at a night promoted as “The Beach Party” at The Masque, Liverpool, 28th August 2003.
Funny story about this bands performance that night, but that will have to wat for another time, as Jon was the only member of the band not affected.

Some of the metal supports for some of the drum kit can be seen behind him on the left, while several amplifiers are sitting on the stage behind him on the right. The stage lights are giving the entire frame a red cast, while black curtains right at the back fill the rest of the frame.
