Toby Jepson of The Toby Jepson Band at L2, Liverpool, 31st March 2002. I was actually asked to take photos of the opening band, Ji, but took the opportunity to get some of this guy in action. It was a pleasure watching the band warm up before soundcheck, ~90 minutes of non-stop, utterly enthralling blues-rock – it was just a pity their actual material was painfully MOTR – not bad, but not as good as the stuff they played for fun.
