A flash from the camera has frozen him in place, while a long exposure and a snap zoom has left an orange aura on the left of the frame, and streaks of yellow and purple light on the right. An orange pole with several faces on it, painted and glazed to look almost organic, stands behind him, while the bands drummer can be seen in the bottom right of the frame. Dark walls and ceiling fill the rest of the frame.
