A couple of the bigger Ska/Skate/Punk bands in the UK (Capdown/Lightyear) were playing a gig pretty much across the road at Academy3, and tickets sold out really fast, so a load of Punk bands from across the North-West decided to put on their own gig, and hope the bands from the other venue came over for an after-show party.

It didn’t happen, but hey, they tried, and that’s pretty much Punk.
